The Healthy Streets Approach is now well known across Europe having been presented by Lucy Saunders at European forums including POLIS, Walk 21, Velocity and THEPEP many times over the years.
Healthy Streets is showcased as best practice in WHO Europe publications and has been applied in Hungary, Austria, Ireland and Spain. A growing cohort of practitioners from across Europe have completed Fundamentals and Foundation training.
There are currently Healthy Streets projects happening in Austria, Norway and Budapest.

Introductory & In-depth online course
In April 2026 we have both the accredited Foundation Course and the introductory Fundamentals courses starting online.
The Fundamentals Course is a series of 3 online seminars held weekly at 13:30 hrs BST from April 23rd, it can be booked via Eventbrite for £170 incl, VAT per person.
The Foundation Course is a series of 6 seminars and tutorials over 6 weeks from April 15th, all sessions starts at 9:30 hrs BST. Places are £575+VAT per participant.
